Shipping & Delivery

If you are returning a purchase for exchange or refund, or have a warranty claim, please refer to our Return & Warranty Claim Procedure before sending the item back to us.

We aim to process your order as quickly as possible & usually fill orders within 24 hours. If an ordered item is out of stock or will be delayed, we will contact you immediately within normal working hours Western Standard Time (WST) to make alternative arrangements.

We use recycled packaging, satchels & cartons for most orders. While this may not look pretty, it helps recycle the waste packaging generated by our business & industry, keeping it out of landfill a bit longer while reducing our shipping costs. Please recycle any packaging you receive from us where possible.

Purchases are sent only after full payment is received & cleared. We always try to use the most cost- & time-effective method of postage for your purchase. If there is a significant difference between the quoted shipping cost & actual cost, we will contact you prior to shipping your purchase to correct this.

Shipping cost is quoted at checkout. We use API services provided by Australia Post & Sendle to calculate the cost of shipping your purchase. You can find out how much shipping will cost by entering your address & postcode at checkout without entering any other information.

Large &/or heavy items (e.g. hard panniers & topboxes, many soft saddlebags, etc) are classified as Bulky Items. Bulky Items are labelled in the product information on our website. We send these items by the most economical shipping method once we know your location. Please contact us before purchasing to receive a shipping quote.

All shipments are ex-Western Australia & sent by regular service. It can take 3-21 days for your purchase to arrive, depending on your location & the shipping service used. Most purchases take 7 business days from WA to major Australian centres. If you need your purchase urgently, select Express Shipping from Australia Post when making your purchase, or contact us directly to arrange. Express Shipping will cost extra & can still take up to 5 business days (or more) if your location is outside metro areas. Australia Post can estimate your postage cost based on your location & indicate if you’re within the Express Shipping network or not. Visit Australia Post’s website and enter “Midvale WA 6056” as the sending location.

Overlander Adventure Equipment cannot be held liable if Australia Post or Sendle fails to deliver your purchase, or if your purchase is damaged during transit, as this risk rests lies with the customer. We will make every effort to trace, recover and find any lost items. However, you can request that we send your purchase with insurance for an additional cost. Overlander Adventure Equipment automatically insures your parcels for loss up to the value of $1500. Please refer to our Return & Warranty Claim Procedure if you receive a damaged delivery & contact us immediately.
