Shipping & Delivery

We aim to process your order as quickly as possible but do not check email every day. Postage takes place TWICE PER WEEK only.

Shipping cost is quoted at checkout. We use API services provided by Australia Post to calculate the cost of shipping your purchase. You can find out how much shipping will cost by entering your address & postcode at checkout without entering any other information. If the price looks overly expensive, or you are purchasing multiple items, please contact us before submitting your purchase! The API for Australia Post is not perfect & we will always ship using the lowest possible price for you.

Purchases are sent only after full payment is received & cleared. If there is a significant difference between the quoted shipping cost & actual cost, we will contact you prior to shipping your purchase to correct this. If an ordered item is out of stock, we will contact you to make alternative arrangements or arrange a refund.

All shipments are ex-Western Australia & sent by regular service. It can take 3-21 days for your purchase to arrive, depending on your location. Most purchases take 7 business days from WA to major Australian centres.

We request you DO NOT select Express Post as we cannot guarantee same or even next-day postage. If you need your purchase urgently, contact us directly to arrange. Express Shipping costs extra & can still take up to 5 business days (or more) if your location is outside metro areas & depending on when we can reach a post office. Find out more about Australia Post’s Express Shipping service on their website. Australia Post can estimate your postage cost based on your location & indicate if you’re within the Express Shipping network or not. Visit Australia Post’s website and enter “Midland WA 6056” as the sending location.

Large &/or heavy items (e.g. hard panniers & topboxes, many soft saddlebags, etc) are classified as Bulky Items and cannot be directly ordered via the website. These items are labelled in the product information on our website. We send these items by the most economical shipping method once we know your location. Please contact us to receive a custom shipping quote.

Overlander Adventure Equipment cannot be held liable if Australia Post fails to deliver your purchase, or if your purchase is damaged during transit, as this risk rests lies with the customer. We will make every effort to trace, recover and find any lost items. However, you can request that we send your purchase with insurance for an additional cost. Overlander Adventure Equipment automatically insures your parcels for loss up to the value of $100 via Australia Post. Please refer to our Return & Warranty Claim Procedure if you receive a damaged delivery & contact us immediately.

If you have a warranty claim for a defective item, please refer to our Return & Warranty Claim Procedure. Returns WILL NOT be accepted without prior contact with us.

We use recycled packaging, satchels & cartons for most orders. While this may not look pretty, it helps recycle the waste packaging generated by our business & industry, keeping it out of landfill a bit longer while reducing our shipping costs. Please recycle any packaging you receive from us where possible.
